Summary: "Excellent book choice"

This book is an excellent reminder of why Men / Women are so different in our needs / desires out of each other in relationships. Dr. Kevin Leman is an excellent writer who knows his stuff, and isn't afraid to tell us women like it is. As women its way too easy for us to assume things about our man, but this book breaks down some of those barriers we struggle with.

Summary: "This is a Must Read for Every Woman 18 & Over!"

I have been married for 11 years and this book taught me a lot about my husband and myself! Ever since I started taking the advice from this book the happiness in my marriage has sky-rocketed! I have read numerous Dr Leman books and have been just as pleased. His methods may seem a little unorthodox to the women of the millenium but trust his advice and follow through and you will get amazing results!

Summary: "Too wordy"

I loved Kevin Leman's "Making Kids Mind Without Losing Yours," and I highly recommend it. I followed a link and bought this book, but it didn't measure up.

The book is quite funny and has great anecdotes, but it just goes on and on. This was a ten-hour book with only 5 hours worth of material.

Two books I have found to be more useful are Gary Chapman's "Love Languages" and Willard Harley's "His Needs, Her Needs." Try both.

Summary: "Best Marriage Book Ever!!!"

I found this book by accident and started reading it. By the second page, I was hooked. I ended up buying one for each of my married daughters and daughters-in-law, as well as my own mother! My own copy's been lent out for ages. I've never read a better, more down-to-earth book on marriage. This book actually has the potential to completely turn your whole marriage around, even if you don't have any special problems. I recommend it for anyone!
